Tribe Participates in 10 Year Oil Spill Commemorative Event

Margaret Roberts, President of the Kodiak Tribal Council, spoke at the commemorative event, "A Native Perspective: Ten Years After the Oil Spill." The Chugach Regional Resources Commission sponsored the memorial gathering at the Spenard Recreation Center, and it featured panel discussions with speakers from villages around the oil spill region, traditional Alutiiq dancing, and a potluck.
