The Alaska Sea Otter Commission is Established
On June 23, 1988, The Kodiak Tribal Council passed a resolution in support of the formation of the Alaska Sea Otter Commission, thereby giving a voice to and representing the sea otter subsistence harvesters residing throughout coastal Alaska Native communities.
