Shoonaq' Tribe Purchases Tribal Center Building

The Shoonaq' Tribe of Kodiak purchased the building that had been leased to the tribe since 2002. 312 W. Marine Way is known locally as the "old Wodlinger building," named for the building's previous occupants. The purchase and renovations were made possible by fundraising and grant funding from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, the Rasmussen Foundation, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Program.
